Thundercat aka Stephen Bruner is a multi-talented bass guitar player and singer from America. He has released three solo albums, but might be best known for his bass playing in the metal band, Suicidal Tendencies. Thundercat was also a major creative contributor to Kendrick Lamar's critically acclaimed album, To Pimp a Butterfly. Bruner took home the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for his contribution on the song, "These Walls".

This indie rock band formed in California in 2004. Their sound can be best described as dream pop or art/psychedelic rock. Warpaint have even been compared to the likes of Siouxsie and the Banshees and Joni Mitchell. They released their debut EP, Exquisite Corpse in 2009 to critical acclaim. The album was mixed and mastered by former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist, John Frusciante.

Rapper Killer Mike and producer El-P met each other in 2011. El-P then produced Killer Mike’s album in 2012, which was followed by a few collaborations between the two and a combined tour. It was because of the success of that tour that the two decided to form Run the Jewels in 2013. The duo’s third and latest album, Run the Jewels 3 was released at the end of 2016.

Daystar Peterson aka Tory Lanez was born in Toronto, Canada. His family moved to Miami when he was young, after which his mum died of a rare illness.
