The Globe has started as a cinema and now it is one of the most favourite hubs of live music in the capital. The Globe is located at the Albany Road in Cardiff, Wales and is easily accessible by car, train and bus.
By train: if you wish to travel by train, the nearest station would be Cathays and Cardiff Queen Station. Both of them in less than a kilometre and a half away from the venue.
By car: located at 125 Albany Road, the venue is easily accessible by the car; however, your route will depend on the departure point.
International: if you are ready to attend the event right after you arrived at the Cardiff Airport, the best way to get there is to take the T9 express bus route that will take you to the Customhouse Street. Take the bus 57 from there and get off at the Alfred Street. The Globe will be within 2 minutes walking distance from the bus stop.
There is a free on-street parking available right outside of the venue. Unfortunately, on-street parking does not presuppose any special spots for the Blue Badge holders.
Access for people with special needs
Unfortunately, there are no disabled facilities at the Globe; however, guests with disabilities are encouraged to contact the administration of the venue so that the necessary arrangements could be made. In addition to that, the balcony is available for the guests that can handle the stairs but are not able to stand for extended periods of time.
