Getting there

The New Theatre is located right in the city centre of Cardiff not too far from the stunning building of Civic Centre. This location is easily accessible by public transport and car. By train: if you are planning to travel to the venue by train, you the nearest railway station is Queen Street, and it is within a short 5 minutes walk away from the venue. By car: the venue is located on a Park Place. The route will depend on your departure point. International: if you are travelling to the New Theatre right from the Cardiff Airport, the best way to get there is to take the bus T9 to Cardiff (SW-bound). Get off at County Hall, and take the train from the Cardiff Bay station (3 minutes walk away from the bus stop) to the Cardiff Queen Street.

Parking facilities

There is free on-street parking nearby around City Hall. You can also choose to park at the Capitol Shopping Centre car park which is also located pretty close to the New Theatre. There are parking spots for the disabled guests just outside the Park Hotel and uploading/unloading area on Greyfriars Road where there is level access to the venue.

Access for people with special needs

The venue provides a passenger lift for the disabled guests and those who have difficulties with stairs. There is a level access for people on wheelchairs to Stalls Bar and Box Office. The venue offers a toilet for people with disabilities and reduced price tickets for the companion seats in Row V in the Stalls. The front Stalls wheelchair accessible area is available only for people with manual wheelchairs. The manual wheelchairs can also be provided.
