The Ruby Lounge premises can host from 350 visitors and about 550 in a club space. It is situated in the middle of Northern Quater. It is a music venue where a great number of famous musicians have been performing for over 60 years. Among them, there were - Farewell J.R., Gary Go, James Mccartney, Jonathan Wilson, Keith, Lana Del Rey, Micah P Hinson, Palace Fires, Portico Quartet, Sea Of Bees, Teddy Thompson
, Tony Wright Terrorvision. The facility was built in the 1950s.
The Ruby Lounge is located on 32A High Street, so you can choose any public transport mode you like:
By train and tube: It is possible to get to Debenhams or Primark on foot - just turn around and walk back about 40 paces. The route from Piccadilly station is the following - turn right and go towards town/Market Street. Then, walking straight on up to the Market Street tram stop. Just follow the tram lines. The club will be directly to your right.
By bus: You can get here from Victoria and/or the Shudehill bus stations. Just follow the tram lines until you reach the Arndale Centre. When you are on the High Street - look to your left.
By car: A665 is the closest highway to the lounge, so you should better follow it.
International: Taxi services are available near each railway station. Also, any bus commute can take you directly to the tube, and you can take it from there.
There are several car parks nearby. The NCP on Tib Street parking works round the clock. In total it has 93 (2 disabled) parking spaces. The NCP on Church Street has Number of 700 (7 disabled) spaces and its opening hours are 6 pm – 10 pm. The NCP on High Street (Arndale) has 1383 (28 disabled) parking spaces. It is opened round the clock.
Access for people with special needs
There is limited access to the facilities for the disabled visitors. Accessible seating should not be a problem, but there are is no ramped entrance or equipped toilets.
