10cc is a British pop and art-rock band founded in 1972 in Manchester. They interpreted the traditions of pop music, adapting the old-fashioned styles and presenting them to the new audience. The band was formed by eminent representatives of the Manchester rock. Graham Gouldman played in The Mockingbirds. Eric Stewart played in The Mindbenders; and after Wayne Fontana had left the band, he became their leader. Lol Creme and Kevin Godley had proved themselves to be great studio musicians, creating hits for others. Read more
