Richard Hawley is a famous English guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer. Born on 17 January 1967 in Sheffield, he suffered severe operations to remove his inborn cleft palate. His parents divorced when he was just 16 years old. Despite the difficulties, the musician remained strong and formed a band named Treebound Story when he was 19. After the band had broken up, he found immediate success in the new band, Longpigs, and later on, in Pulp. Hawley is now a solo musician and has released seven studio albums so far. Read more
