Opened to the public in 2016, the Moth Club is one of the newest and most eclectic nightclubs and event venues in London. Located on Valette Street, in the Hackney district of London, this exclusive location is named after the Memorable Order of Tin Hats. The latter is a military club that used to hold meetings inside this old trade hall. Even though the venue hasn’t even been active for a full year, the Moth Club has already welcomed guests like Lady Gaga
and Tame Impala
The Moth Club can be found in the very centre of Hackney, so it’s easily accessible by train, tube, bus or car.
By train and tube: The venue is within a 27-minute walking distance from the Bethnal Green subway station, which serves the tube line Central. The nightclub/event venue is also very close (3-min walk) to the Hackney Central train station.
By bus: The Moth Club is just a two-minute stroll from the Hackney Town Hall bus stops A and B, which serve the routes 30, 48, 55, 106, 236, 254, 276, 277, 394, N55, N253 and W15.
By car: While trying to find the Moth Club, drivers should look for the A107 main road. From that point, it should be a smooth ride.
International: People who come to London by plane should take a look at these driving times from the 5 airports in the city: London City Airport – 21 minutes; Stansted Airport – 50 minutes; London Biggin Hill Airport – 54 minutes; London Luton Airport – 1h 5 min; Heathrow Airport – 1h 14 min. All London airports have developed public transport infrastructure, too; so you will easily get to city centre from any airport.
The nearest parking facility is the Amhurst Road Car Park, which offers a lot of spots for Blue Badge Holders. It takes no more than 4 minutes to walk from this facility to the Moth Club.
