The Garage is the kind of club dedicated to its indie and rock venue practices. The club has seen many bands perform on its huge main stage that can house nearly 600 people, while the entire location can hold up to 750 people. Opening hours are standard for customers, the live shows are age restricted to 14+ and accompanied by an adult. Late night events are 18+ and under 18 is strictly forbidden.
The club is situated near Holloway Road intersection, at 20-22 Highbury Cres, at around 5-10 minutes walk from Highbury & Islington tube station.
By train and tube: The Garage is situated near the St. Pancras International Railway Station. Anyone can take the tube from Highbury & Islington to King's Cross St. Pancras London Underground for just under 10 minutes or take the cab on the A501 road.
By bus: eight bus routes stop at Highbury Corner, a couple of minutes away from the venue. This are 4, 19, 30, 43, 271, 393, N14, N41.
By car: The club is situated near Highbury Island crossroads with access to the main roads, Holloway Rd (A1) and St. Paul's Rd A1201.
International: if you would like to use public transport after arriving at the airport, catch a tube or a bus to the city centre (see above) right after exiting London International Airport.
There is no parking space around The Garage, and the parking near the club is reserved for residents of the area. It’s highly recommended to use the public transportation to reach the club. Otherwise, there are several places to park near Keenies Yard on A1201 (near the tall building next to the intersection). Unfortunately, the lost does not offer yellow lines parking spots.
Access for people with special needs
Disabled customers have wheelchair ramps, and personnel prepared to assist them at the entrance. Guide dogs are welcome, too.
