“Ocean Colour Scene” was formed in 1990 after the collapse of the other two Birmingham teams, “The Boys” and “The Fanatics”. The first of them, in which Steve Cradock (guitar, keyboards, vocals) played, was similar to “Small Faces”, and the second, where the participants were Simon Fowler (vocals, guitar), Damon Minchella (bass), and Oscar Harrison (drums) worked in the spirit of “Velvet Underground”.
