The Town Hall has been a center of cultural and civil life in Birmingham for over 180 years now. Featuring everything from pop to rock to comedy to classical, it is one of the most versatile venues. The Town Hall has hosted such performers as The Music Makers, The Kingdom,The Apostles, Led Zeppelin and David Bowie, Black Sabbath, The Beatles and many other. With its 1086 people seating capacity, the venue has also been used for wrestling matches, graduation ceremonies and readings.

Getting there

The venue is easily accessible by any transport you please to choose. By train: the closest stations to the Town Hall would be Snow Hill and Birmingham New Street. Both are within an easy walking distance from the venue. Five Ways and Moor Street stations are a bit further, but still within a reasonable walking distance. By car: The Birmingham Town Hall is easily accessible through M42, M40, M6 and M5. You will see signs leading to the venue along the way. International: if you are travelling to the Town Hall right from the Birmingham International Airport, then the adjacent rail station would be Birmingham International. It has frequent trains to the city centre.

Parking facilities

The Town Hall and Holliday Street multi-storey parking lots are available for your convenience. Besides, they are located within a short walking distance. In addition to that, the Town Hall offers drop-off/collection areas and parking for guests with disabilities.

Access for people with special needs

Town Hall is easily accessible to wheelchair users. There are designated areas for guests in wheelchairs. The administration of the Town Hall encourages the wheelchairs users to let them know if any arrangements needed to be made prior to their arrival. There are lifts to all the levels of the venue. The flat access can be also arranged.
