By train: the closest stations to the Town Hall would be Snow Hill and Birmingham New Street. Both are within an easy walking distance from the venue. Five Ways and Moor Street stations are a bit further, but still within a reasonable walking distance.
By car: The Birmingham Town Hall is easily accessible through M42, M40, M6 and M5. You will see signs leading to the venue along the way.
International: if you are travelling to the Town Hall right from the Birmingham International Airport, then the adjacent rail station would be Birmingham International. It has frequent trains to the city centre.
