Four young artists from Reading, Berkshire, sharing the same passion for indie-sound, gathered around and formed Sundara Karma in 2011 to take the music world by storm. Vocalist Oscar Pollock, drummer Haydn Evans, guitarist Ally Baty and bassist Dom Cordell are the young musicians of the moment, no doubt about it. O2 Institute Birmingham was officially opened in 1908 as an institutional church attached to Carr’s Lane Congregational Church. In 1955 it was bought by the City Council and used as a civic hall and later it became a fundamental part of the Birmingham live music and club scene. The capacity of 2900 people is spread over three main rooms, a big part of them (2000) belong to the main auditorium. Over the years this music venue has hosted bands like Pink Floyd, The Human League, Artic Monkeys, and many more.
