Zayn's father hails from Pakistan, although he lived in England all his life. His mother is the English. This interesting combination of European and Asian blood had an impact on the appearance of the boy. Zayn was attending Tong High School, when he became a member of "The X Factor", a popular show in England. When Zayn Malik was 17, he recorded a charming song "Me Love You" for the popular show. It was so masterfully written and performed, that the jury expressed its admiration. They invited the young talent to the final stage of the selection. Initially, he had to act as a solo artist. Then the jury, the creators of the program have decided to organize a youth group that has all chances to become popular, fashionable. The result of the jury's decision was the creation of a now well-known group "One Direction". The band quickly became one of the most popular in numerous countries.

Solo career

Inspired by the fast success of a new group, the singers started performing on concert stages independently. Malik Zayn began to receive offers from the most famous producers. He had the opportunity to sign pretty lucrative contracts. Performance in the group, surrounded by other talented and beautiful singers, pushed Zayn into the background. Working in a group does not prevent the singer from writing beautiful and memorable songs that cause delight of fans and admirers. Among these singles are "Taken", "Why Don`t We Go There", "Right Now". In March 2015 he announced about his leaving of the band. In a year, he released his first "Mind of Me" solo album. The first solo single "Pillowtalk" made his debut on the 1 st place in the British and American charts. His other successful songs are "It's You"(2016) and "Like I Would"(2016).
