Marco Antonio Muñiz was born in the United States in New York on 16 September 1968. The first steps in his career of the musician were associated with rap direction. Mark composed music and worked as a backing singer with Menudo and the group “The Latin Raskals”. In order to avoid confusion with his namesake, Mark decided to change his name and became Marc Anthony. In 1988, Anthony released his first album in the rap style “Rebel”.
