About Wildlife

Different from Others

The group “Wildlife” consists of five friends from Ontario who united to produce music in 2006 and continue doing this since then. They put the aim to make really fun tracks with lots of pop in them. But they wanted something more. They are not similar to the majority of Toronto’s groups because their music is loud but at the same time heart-felt, distinct for its punk-tinged ferocity and really unique tunes. Their style is rather difficult to determine. The only thing that is evident about its style is that it is raw, honest, and emotional. It represents a merge of various items: an affection to the old and the new, moving forward while taking the best from the previous period. Their songs are full of something that the band put their heart in.

Creativity

The band has independently issued a self-titled EP in 2008. The copies of the album were sold during shows and tours across Ontario and eastern Canada. The next release of the group was “On the Heart” in 2013 via Wax Records. The band occupied the position in the Top 10 radio hit with the track “Lightning Tent” for the first time in its existence. The team also issued a track “Dead Century” in 2016. The premiere of it took place at Canadian Music Week 2016.
