About Rudimental

The name

According to Kesi Dryden, the group received such a name because of his children's piano lessons. The teacher of music showed him a textbook, which was called “The book of rudiments” and forced him constantly not to forget this way of playing. These lessons ingrained in his mind and according to his confession, if he did not name the group so, he would have chosen that name as a stage one.

Albums

In 2012, the group debuted with the album “Home”. The record not only topped the UK Albums Chart, it also became platinum in the UK and Australia. In 2013, the album was also nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, a music award given annually in the UK and Ireland. The second album “We the Generation” was issued in 2015. While recording it, the artist collaborated with Ed Sheeran, MNEK, Bobby Womack and other famous artists. The group became a welcome guest at the most renowned music festivals, was nominated for numerous awards, and at the same time continues to delight fans of modern electronic music with new releases.
