About Reggie N Bollie
The Contest
In 2015, “Reggie 'n' Bollie” came to the audition for the twelfth series of ‘X Factor’. At the judges' houses, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini became their mentor. They remained the coach’s sole performers in the show. They were the first duet to appear in the final after “Same Difference” in 2007. They got the second place in the show, losing to Louisa Johnson. The band took part in ‘X Factor Live Tour 2016.’
Debut Single
The runner-ups of the show issued their debut track called “New Girl” in 2016. It is as upbeat as you could only expect. The single resembles an infectious summer anthem along with a carnival-style chorus and a number of steel drums to beat. "The main thing for us was to put our style on it", told Reggie about the new track. "We're glad it's coming across that way."
Plans
The group promised to issue a full album this year via Simon Cowell's Syco record label.
“Reggie N Bollie” have also made the accompanying music video in Ghana, the premier of which will be held later. "We got to the airport and there were friends and family and fans holding banners with our names on it - it was awesome", Bollie commented on the film. "We did the video in a fantastic location as well, so we can't wait for it to be out."
