Rationale Tickets

Tinashe Fazakerley, known as Rationale, is a producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He produces bold, genre hopping things of soulful and heartfelt tracks. Rationale’s lyrics usually reflect life stories to increase the dramatic effect; and in his works, classic arrangements are combined with cutting edge sonics. He was born on April 4, 1984 in Harare, Zimbabwe. His mother had a diverse collection of records, beginning with Fela Kuti and up to Meatloaf. This helped Tinashe, settled in London, to discover late '90s rock and indie.

His Style and First Release

Under these eclectic influences, he succeeded to develop his skills and discover a soaring baritone vocal that made him so recognizable. His first recording, “Fast Lane,” went out in April 2015, and was met by general positive response online and from the UK radio. The track appeared at once at No.2 on Spotify's Global Viral Chart and at No.1 on Hype Machine.

The Latest EP

Rationale’s next track, “Re.Up,” surprises the listeners from the very beginning as it is opened by a female vocal, showing another, inner side to musician's sound. His confrontational anthem “Fuel To The Fire” provokes the audience to look beyond handheld justice. “Fuel To The Fire”, a four-track EP, is an attempt of the musician to make a meaningful statement alongside with a sonically diverse collection.

Fans

Rationale was supported by the UK radio from the first release, but alongside with it, he had such famous fans as Elton John, Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, “The Hype”, “Noisey”, “Pigeons & Planes” and “Buzzfeed”.

Tours

Rationale’s first live show took place at the Courtyard Theatre in Hoxton, London. It gave way to his further tours across the UK and Europe, including concerts in Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, and Paris. Then followed a debut U.S. tour across LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Brooklyn, and New York. In 2016, the musician issued two new tracks “Something For Nothing” and “Palms”.
