Rammstein Tickets

The secret to success of “Rammstein” is sweeping away everything in its path with a heavy industrial sound, perfectly combined with a rough German vocals and a constant stage shock. Six musicians from East Berlin and Schwerin formed the band in January 1994. Richard Kruspe (guitar), Paul Landers (guitar), Till Lindemann (vocals), Christian “Flake” Lorenz (keyboards), Oliver Riedel (bass), and Christoph Schneider (drums). The name of the project is the reminiscent of the events of 1988 when the tragedy occurred at the US Air Force Base, located in the town of Ramstein, - during an air show, three airplanes crashed down and took the lives of 70 spectators.

Early Years

At first, it was difficult for a group to get a promotion, but then, the team was able to conclude a contract with the label Motor Music that issued their debut album. Despite the fact that the disc had the name “Herzeleid”, the audience took the work well, especially the singles “Do Riechst So Gut” and “Seemann”.

Shows

After playing a series of concerts with “Project Pitchfork” and “Clawfinger”, the group held the first national tour as headliners. Almost from the very beginning, “Rammstein” used pyrotechnics during their performances and thus, increased the entertainment of their shows.

LP “Sehnsucht”

In 1997, the group’s long play “Sehnsucht” came out preceded by the singles “Engel” and “Du Hast”. And if the first EP started from the 12th position, the second took the 5th place, and the album reached the very top of the national charts becoming platinum before the start of sales.

Other Works

The album "Mutter", issued in 2001, was accompanied by a grand European-American tour. The disc topped the charts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as the charts of many other countries. The fourth studio album went on sale in 2004 and marked a further move of the team to the top. Despite the stylistic contrast from its predecessors, “Reise, Reise” stirred the hot dozens of many European countries, and in accordance with Billboard, “Rammstein” was recognized as the best German-language band of all time. In 2011, “Rammstein” issued a compilation “Made in Germany 1995-2011”, which along with the proven hits included a new song “Mein Land”. The following year, the team has put on the market a video compilation “Videos 1995-2012” and in 2015 issued a DVD “Rammstein in Amerika” with a record of sold-out performance five years ago in Madison Square Garden.
