English-Irish boys’ band Boyce “One Direction” was noticed on the music show X-Factor in 2010. After they became famous via the TV show, they sighed a contract with Syco Music. The fame of the boys’ band just started but it seems that the boys tend to replace Justin Bieber. Five young guys - Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne - became the boy band members.

Their path to the top of starry Olympus started on the British TV show X-factor. Here they were united in a group by the insistence of the judge and a new band “One Direction” occupied the third place. The guys were a little upset because of this, as they dreamt of becoming the absolute champions. Thanks to the foresight of the judge, “One Direction” has become popular worldwide and found the hot and devoted fans.

First album
Their first album “Up All Night” (2011) succeeded to be the UK best-selling debut album. The band on YouTube beat all mental and unimaginable records. The first song “What Makes You Beautiful” deserved a lot of positive feedback not only from fans but from critics too, alongside with the second single “One Thing”.
“Forever Young” and “Dare to Dream” are the two books written by the band.
“One Direction” continues to gain popularity. “Live While We're Young” song, representing the disk “Take Me Home”(2012), has achieved global success. This single occupied the 1st place in the charts in Ireland and New Zealand and once in the Top-10 in each country where it was presented.

The premiere of the documentary film “One Direction: This is us”, issued on August 30, 2013, was a success.
The album “Midnight Memories”(2013) debuted with the first line of the British and American charts. The album "Four” won the 1st place in the Billboard 200 and the UK album charts.
It was officially reported on March 25, 2015 that Zayn Malik separated from the band.
The album “Made in the A.M” (2015), debuted on the second line of the Billboard 200, became the first album that failed to gain the first line immediately after the coming.
