In 2009, Noel Gallagher left the “Oasis” group, announcing that cannot be on the same stage with his brother Liam. After that, the rumors about a possible solo career of Noel appeared. Gallagher Sr. was well aware about the high expectations from his solo CD and he could not avoid comparisons with “Oasis”’ ones, and also, with new works of his brother – “Beady Eye”. Eventually in 2010, it was announced about the foundation of the group “Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds”.

After “Oasis”
After leaving of “Oasis”, Noel decided to engage seriously in his future career in music. In 2011, Gallagher announced at a press conference in London that “Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds” would release a self-titled album in October and his new album together with “Amorphous Androgynous” in 2012. In July 2012, he issued his debut track, “The Death of You and Me”, which has received positive reviews from critics. “If I Had a Gun ...”, Noel's first song in the US, is available at the Apple Store.
Cooperation
While cooperating with “Amorphous Androgynous” (they are also known as “The Future Sound of London”) over their “Tales of Ephidrina”, he said, “I did a bit like “Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd. The sound is similar to “High Flying Birds”, but it is more psychedelic. It's not an electronic project! People resort to this conclusion only because “Amorphous Androgynous” specializes on this one ...”
Further Works
In 2011, the band issued their debut disc – “Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds”, which was immediately able to lead the British charts, and received a lot of positive reviews from critics. The album also received a two-platinum certification from the BPI. In 2012, Noel announced the emergence of its next mini-album, entitled “Songs from the Great White North,”. His latest album appeared in 2015 entitled “Chasing Yesterday”. He also issued 3 more EPs.
