Lianne La Havas was born in 1989 in London, England. Lianne became keen on music as early as seven years, when she began to sing, and her parents helped her greatly, both of whom were musicians. The first of her own songs La Havas wrote at the age of 11, and she learned to play the guitar later. Lianne decided to study in Croydon, in Norbury Manor Business and Enterprise College for Girls, where she planned to study art.
