Beck Hansen, well known as Beck, was born on 8 July 1970 in Los Angeles, USA. Beck is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and singer. He started to be famous in the early 1990s with his sonically experimental, lo-fi style. At that moment he was creating musical collages of a great variety of genres and styles. Nowadays, he combines psychedelia, country, alternative rock, hip-hop, soul, funk, and folk in his songs. Beck is very productive due to the fact that he has released 12 studio albums (2 of them are independently released) over time and a couple of non-album singles on top of that. Read more
