Originally opened as a cinema, Troxy theatre was built in 1933 on the site of an ancient brewery, now hosting an audience of 2.600 people at every performance. “King Kong” was the first movie shown on the screens of this old cinema and after the last representation, back in 1960, it became a bingo hall. A massive rehabilitation restored its old glory and it’s now a home of numerous stage plays, sporting events and different conferences, proving once again what a versatile venue it is.
