The Islington is a music bar and event venue located in Angel, London. It held many different kinds of events along with music gigs, live concerts, and gag shows. Various artists like Busty and the Bass, Sam Jordan, Starling Festival Republic have been giving their shows in the venue. It’s a perfect place to feel the music in the middle of London and try British, French or Italian cuisine. Before the facility changed the owners, the club was known as the North One.

Getting there
Getting to the Islington is rather easy; guests are welcome to make the most of London public transportation. You can get to the venue:
By train and tube: the closest tube station is Angel, and the bar is located 3 minutes away. If you would rather travel by train, you need to get off at Essex Road and take around 20 minutes’ walk to the venue.
By car: Perhaps, the quickest and the easiest way to get directly to the club. Please, follow route guide depending on your starting point. Uber works, too.
International: You can reach The Islington from Gatwick or Heathrow airports. From Gatwick, take a train to London Bridge and then tube to Angel Station. The walk from the station will take you about 2 minutes. If you are travelling from Heathrow, take a train from terminals 1-3 and to Paddington Station; then take the tube to King’s Cross. From King’s Cross, take bus line 476 and get off at Baron Street Chapel Market. Walk around 4 minutes.
Parking facilities
The Islington doesn’t have a dedicated parking lot. The nearest parking place is Sainsbury's, located only 2 minutes away from the venue. Another one is 3 minutes away on Chapel Market. Both lots are wheelchair friendly.
