Located on Gateforth Street, in the Marylebone area of central London, The Cockpit Theatre is one of the most noteworthy fringe theatres in the city, hosting a large variety of experimental shows. Opened to the public in 1970, the venue has a seating capacity ranging between 180 and 240 people. At the moment, The Cockpit Theatre is owned by the City of Westminster College. Up to now, no major renovations or refurbishments have been undertaken.

By bus: The Cockpit Theatre is no more than a two-minute walk from the bus stops Church Street Market Lisson Grove LJ and LP, which serve the bus routes 139 and 189.
By car: To find the venue with ease, don’t forget that it is located in the vicinity of the Lisson Grove/B507 main road.
International: If your international flight lands at the Heathrow International Airport, it will take you about 37 minutes to get to The Cockpit Theatre by car. Another option would be to embark on the Heathrow Express tube, which stops near Terminal 5.

Although The Cockpit Theatre doesn’t offer private parking options, the Q-Park Church Street is only a four-minute walk to the venue. In addition, this facility includes numerous spots for Blue Badge Holders.
