This complex of artistic venues on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, England. The venue consists of three main venues: the Purcell Room, the Hayward Gallery, the Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Royal Festival Hall with its Saison Poetry Library. In fact, Southbank Centre is the largest centre for arts in Europe, which attracts over six million guests each year.
More than two thousand performances of literature, dance and music are staged at Southbank Centre annually.

Getting there
Southbank Centre is located on Belvedere Road in London and is easily accessible by train, tube, bus and car.
By train and tube: if you are travelling by train, the nearest mainline train stations are Waterloo (4 minutes walking distance) and Waterloo East (6 minutes walking distance). If you are travelling by tube, the closest London Underground stations are Waterloo, Embankment, and Charing Cross.
By bus: if you choose to travel by bus, the following buses stops are located close to Southbank Centre: Belvedere Road, serving RV1 bus route, York Road (5 minutes walk), serving bus routes RV1, N76, N381, 507, 381, 341, 211,77 and 76, and Waterloo Bridge (2 minutes walk), serving bus routes N343, N171, N68, N1, 521, 243, 188, 176, 172, 171, 168, 139, 68, 59, 26, 4 and 1.
By car: the venue is located close to the main road A3200. When you reach the roundabout, take the Waterloo Bridge exit, which will take you to the entrance of Southbank Centre.
International: your journey from Heathrow Airport will take under 40 minutes by car via motorway M4. Or, you could catch a train right at the terminal exit.
Parking facilities
The venue offers two car parks: Hayward Gallery and Hungerford Bridge. Many of the spaces in these car parks are for Blue Badge Holders only.
