The Sebright Arms is a famous local British pub and a gig venue. In the 19th century, it was a Music Hall. In the seventies the pub was a famous Heavy Metal venue; in the eighties, it was a Disco pub; in the nineties, the facility served as a Cabaret until it was closed for redevelopment in 2009. Today it is both a traditional pub serving Ales, Ciders, and local craft beers and an entertaining venue hosting live music, showcasing new bands, DJ’s and local talents, as well as established and Cabaret Artists, comedians, and gig-goers.

Getting there
The venue is located on 31-35 Coate Street, down Sebright Passage off Hackney Road and there are several means of getting there:
By train or tube: Cambridge Heath Railway Station is about three-five minutes’ walk away, and Bethnal Green Tube Station is just three minutes’ walk away.
By bus: Buses 26, 48, 55, N26 and N55 stop very nearby on Hackney Road, which runs parallel to Coate Street.
By car: getting to the venue by car should not be a problem, but it is advisable to follow the map directions if you are new to London.
International: you can get to the tube directly from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and take it from there. Gatwick also has an overground station close by.
Parking facilities
There are a lot of parking spaces the parking right outside. The parking is also possible on Teale Street, 2 minutes’ walk away, or on Claredale Street, 3 minutes’ walk away. Unfortunately, the on-street parking does not have any dedicated spots for Blue Badge holders.
Accessibility for people with special needs
The Sebright Arms is a simple pub, and it does not have accessible ramp entrance or specially equipped toilets. But, the administration can take of accessible seating and viewing area if you inform the box office about your needs a couple of days prior to the show.
