Situated on Charing Cross Road, in the London Borough of Camden, the Phoenix Theatre is one of the most popular theatres in the West End of London. Opened to the public in 1930, the building features a delightful neoclassical style, the work of three famous architects, Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, Bertie Crewe and Cecil Massey. Between 1966 and 1969, the theatre went through a renovation and refurbishment project. The current capacity of the Phoenix Theatre is of 1012 people.

By train and tube: Those who arrive in London by train will be pleased to know that the Phoenix Theatre is within an 11-minute walking distance from the Charing Cross Station. The closest underground station, Tottenham Court Road Station, is only a 3-minute walk to the venue and serves the lines Central and Northern.
By bus: The theatre is right in front of the Denmark Street bus stop A, which serves the routes 14, 19, 24, 29, 38 and 176.
By car: Drivers won’t need to perform a lot of searches when trying to get to the Phoenix Theatre, as the venue is right on the Cross Rd/A400 main road.
International: The Phoenix Theatre is a 48-minute car ride from the London City Airport. Once at the airport, international travellers could also consider taking the DLR tube.

Although the Phoenix Theatre doesn’t have a private parking, guests can leave their cars at the Q-Park Chinatown facility. This car park features a lot of spots reserved for Blue Badge Holders.
