Located on Wellington Street, in the City of Westminster, the Lyceum Theatre is one of the oldest and most spacious theatres in London. Originally opened in 1765, the theatre was fully rebuilt in 1834, after being consumed by a fire. Since then, the building was renovated in 1882, 1904, 1951 and 1996. Featuring a very large capacity of 2100 seats, the Lyceum Theatre has hosted many famous performances, like “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Oklahoma!” and “The Lion King”.

By train and tube: If you arrive in London by train, you’ll be able to get to the venue from the Charing Cross Station in about eight minutes. The Lyceum Theatre is within a six-minute walking distance from the Covent Garden subway station, serving the Piccadilly line.
By bus: The Lyceum Theatre is a one-minute walk from the Aldwych bus stop, which serves the routes 748 and 758 and Covent Garden Catherine bus stop C, which serves the route RV1.
By car: Drivers should find the venue with ease, as it is situated in the vicinity of the Strand/A4 main road.
International: To the delight of international travellers, the Lyceum Theatre is just a 35-minute drive from the London City Airport. In case you don’t have a car, you could also board the DLR tube line after your plane lands.
