Getting there

The Kew Gardens is well-connected to the main lines of the city and generous car parking close-by. By train and tube: there are four entrances to the Kew Gardens, some are closer to tube stations, while other to nearby train stops. For instance, the closest underground station is Kew Gardens Station, at about 400 metres from the Victoria Gate entrance. Kew Bridge Station is the nearest train stop in the area, at 800 metres from the Elizabeth Gate entrance to the Gardens. By car: if you’re coming from North London, follow the North Circular, take the M4 or A4 if you’re coming from the West and the M3 if you’re coming from South. International: From Heathrow International Airport, take the Piccadilly tube line to South Ealing Station; then take the 65 bus from Stop D to Kew Gardens Station. At Gatwick Airport, take the Southern Railway to Clapham Junction; then change the line to South West Trains to Richmond. From there, take the 65 bus and follow the same directions as above.

Parking facilities

There is a 300-speace parking lot near Brentford Gate, with no charge for motorcycles and mopeds and 12 disabled parking spaces. There is also free parking available on Kew Road, close to Victoria entrance.
