Fulham Palace is located in Fulham, London on Bishop Avenue and was formerly the principal residence of the Bishop of London. From the 11th century until 1975 the site was the country home of the Bishops. Now the Fulham Palace is a museum, managed by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Any visitor can enjoy free access to the Palace and its grounds.

Getting there
The Palace can be accessed from Fulham Palace Road, close to the northern end of Putney Bridge. There are several means of getting there:
By train and tube: Putney Bridge Underground station (District Line) is an approximately eight-minute walk (700 meters away from the Fulham Palace). It is located in the south of Fulham and adjacent to Fulham High Street. Putney Railway Station is 15 minutes away from Fulham Palace.
By bus: there are many bus stops on Fulham Palace Road, which is just a few minutes walk away from Fulham Palace. The nearest buses are 74, 220, 430 - Stop FN (five-minute walk to Fulham Palace along Bishop’s Avenue). There are also 85, 93, 265 buses - Stop FE, which is a ten-minute walk to Fulham Palace.
By car: follow the map directions to get to the venue.
International: at Heathrow, exit at terminal 4 - it will take you right to the tube. Jump the District line and follow the instructions above. From Gatwick, get on the Blackfriars Underground - trains circle every five minutes and will quickly take you to the city centre.
Parking facilities
The parking is not available on-site. The parking is possible on Bishops Avenue in parking spaces running from Monday to Saturday 9am–5pm. Special parking restrictions are applied from 9am-9.30pm in Fulham Football Club match days. Regardless of the day, parking is allowed for a maximum of one hour, bank holidays included. Accessible parking is also available nearby.
