The ancient Elephant & Castle Theatre, opened way back in 1872 is now the well-known Coronet nightclub based on New Kent Road in London. It went a long way from stage plays to live concerts and DJ’s performances; but, Coronet has managed to keep the bar high and it’s now one of the most popular destination for music lovers all over the capital, with a capacity of 2.600 people.

Getting there
The Coronet is set in the heart of Elephant & Castle, an area where you can easily get from any part of London with any mode of transport.
By train and tube: the venue is accessible via Elephant & Castle train and underground stations, both at a 3 minute walk distance. Of course, there are various bus stops near the Coronet, numbers 1, 63, 168, 172, 188, 363, 415, N1 and N63 they all stop just in front of the club.
By car: there is always an option to get to the neighborhood with your personal car, but you’ll have to follow the map depending on your departure point.
International: from Heathrow International Airport, take the Piccadilly line to Piccadilly Circus then take the Elephant & Castle line to the underground station. You’ll have 2 more minutes to the Coronet.
From Gatwick Airport, take the Southern Railway to Clapham Junction then the Southern West Trains to Waterloo Station. From here, take bus 1 from Stop E, on Waterloo Road directly to Elephant & Castle new Kent Road.
Parking facilities
The venue doesn’t have its own parking, and there is no street parking around the area. However, the Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre offers limited secure parking until 23:30 every day of the week and there are multiple parking meters around the venue.
Access for people with special needs
The doors to the main entrance of the Coronet are double width, but there’s no level access. However, there is a ramp to access the level change just in front of the entrance. The club has adapted toilets for people with physical impairment and it welcomes guide dogs.
