Beck Hansen, well known as Beck, was born on 8 July 1970 in Los Angeles, USA. Beck is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, and singer. He started to be famous in the early 1990s with his sonically experimental, lo-fi style. At that moment he was creating musical collages of a great variety of genres and styles. Nowadays, he combines psychedelia, country, alternative rock, hip-hop, soul, funk, and folk in his songs.
