English metalcore band Asking Alexandria was formed in 2008 in York. The band released four albums and toured widely around the world. They are considered to be one of the most famous metalcore bands in recent years due to a huge commercial success they received after releasing their album, entitled “Stand Up And Scream” in 2009.
