Located on Wilton Road, in the Westminster district of London, the Apollo Victoria Theatre is a world-class venue for theatrical performances, most famous for the musical “Wicked”. With a seating capacity of 2500 patrons, the building was opened to the public in 1930 and initially functioned as a cinema and variety theatre called New Victoria Cinema. The theatre itself, which is mainly dedicated to musicals, was opened in 1981 and underwent a renovation in 1984. The first musical staged here was “The Sound of Music”.
