Jasmine Lucilla Elizabeth Jennifer van den Bogaerde, famous as Birdy, was born on May 15, 1996, in the small English city of Lymington, Hampshire, the UK. Her mother is the giving concerts pianist, and in this regard, her daughter early learned to play the piano — when she was 5. In 2008, Birdy won a competition of talents Open Mic UK in the category of contestants under- 18s, having bypassed 10 thousand rivals.
