The famous English performer and the author of songs Catherine “Kate” Bush was born in 1958 in Bexleyheath, Kent. The meeting with the guitarist of “Pink Floyd” David Gilmour became a turning point in her life: Gilmore has become interested in music of Bush and has offered his help. So, by 1975 the singer has written down songs “The Man With The Child In His Eyes”, “The Saxophone Song”, and “Maybe”. This time her creativity was appreciated, and she has signed the contract with EMI.

Starting Albums
The debut disk of Kate left in 1978 and has received the name “The Kick Inside”. The album has turned out strong, and the song “Wuthering Heights” became an international hit very quickly. The same year there was the second studio work “Lionheart” (1978), which is not yielding on quality to a debut disk. Listeners have accepted “Lionheart” perfectly well, and soon the album has received the platinum status.
Other Successful Works
One of the most successful albums “Keith Never For Ever” left in 1980. It comprised a well-known song “Babooshka”. The 4th studio album “The Dreaming” was issued in 1982, and many critics agree in the opinion that it is the best work of Kate. Bush has produced “The Dreaming” herself. It was followed by “Hounds Of Love” (1985), which the singer wrote down already in her own studio.
Collections
In 1986, the first collection of the best songs of Kate, which has received the name “The Whole Story”, was issued. In 1989, the singer issued the 6th studio album “The Sensual World”, which has turned out a traditionally strong and thought-over work. In 1993, Kate issued a disk “The Red Shoes”, which received good comments of musical experts.
After the Break
The following album Kate's admirers wait for long twelve years. So, “Aerial” was issued in 2005 and surely debuted in a chart on the 3rd place, having received more than flatter comments of experts. After this, two more disks went out.
