James Morrison Tickets

James Morrison, born on August 13, 1984, in Rugby, is the English performer and the guitarist, the owner of the BRIT Awards. His debut track “You Give Me Something” (2006) was a hit in Europe, Australia and Japan, Great Britain and New Zealand. The studio album “Undiscovered”, headed the British chart. In 2008, Morrison let out an album “Songs for You, Truths for Me”, which got to the five in the homeland of the musician and occupied top charts of Ireland. In support of this disk, the hit singles “You Make It Real” and “Broken Strings”, recorded in a duet with Nellie Furtado were issued. Morrison cooperated, besides Furtado, with Jason Mraz and other performers both on recordings, and at concerts. Besides, he wrote “Quello che dai”, debuted on the first place in Italy, for the Italian singer Marco Carta.

Early Life

James Morrison spent his childhood and youth in a provincial town of Rugby, West Midlands. His great interest to music appeared in a young age. A large music library of his parents influenced his development. His idols were Cat Stevens and the group “The Kinks”. At 13, he started playing the guitar. At 16, he played in his own band. At first, it was only a small school fun, but soon, James began thinking about a professional musician's career. The compositions he wrote, enjoyed great success and stood out among the other music of their genuine, beauty, and candor.

Lucky Chance

One day, by chance, one of Morrison's songs came on Polydor Records studio. James immediately signed a contract. In 2006, he let out a CD with 13 full-fledged compositions. His debut album received the name “Undiscovered”.

Now James Morrison belongs to the most popular British performers. His hits were the songs “You Give Me Something” and “Wonderful World”. He is a permanent member of the popular TV show. The musician periodically goes on tour in Europe. The third studio album of James Morrison “The Awakening” left 2011 and the latest one in 2015.
