“Issues” is the American metalcore group from the city of Atlanta, State of Georgia. It was formed in the summer of 2012 by Tyler Carter and the former participants of “Woe, Is Me”. The group let out the first single “King of Amarillo” (2012), and also a cover on the song “Boyfriend” by Justin Bieber. The song was included into the collection “Punk Goes Pop 5”. Their debut EP “Black Diamonds” was issued in November, 2012.
Soon after the creation of the group and the announcement about their first tour, the keyboard player Ben Ferris decided to leave the project in connection with the desire to continue education and make a career in a commercial aspect of music. At the beginning of September 2012, the group declared that they are going to play their first “Party with the Devil Tour” with such teams as “Adestria”, “Ice Nine Kills”, “Make Me Famous”, and “Attila”.
Changes in the lineup
The bass player Cory Ferris couldn't participate in the recording of “Black Diamonds”, also he declared on the Twitter that he wouldn’t participate in the tour “Party with the Devil”. Lack of any possible activity of Cory in “Issues”, and also the early leaving of his brother Ben led to the fact that in November 2012 he left the group either. Because of the absence of Ferris in the course of recording of “Black Diamonds”, Skyler Accord, the brother of the keyboard player Tyler, was the bass player. After this, Skylar was invited into the group as the official participant.
In January 2013, the group sat down at the studio for recording the new single called “Hooligans”. In 2014, they let out an acoustic EP “Diamond Dreams”. It included “The Worst of Them”, the acoustic version of the “Hooligans”, and the new version of “King of Amarillo”.
In May 2013, the group took part in “Surf and Skate Festival”. The team began to write new material and, right after the participation in “Warped Tour 2013”, they sat down in a studio to record the debut full-scale album “Issues” (2014). Their latest album “Headspace” appeared in 2014.
