Graham Nash Tickets

The British singer Graham William Nash was born on February 2, 1942 in Blackpool, the County of Lancashire, England. The musical future of Graham Nash was defined in 1947 when he got acquainted with Allan Clarke. Clarke and Nash studied in one class, they became friends and found the common hobby – music. Children sang together in chorus, and in the mid-50s created a duo “Two Teens”. In 1960, Nash and Clark joined “The Deltas” group which was renamed into “The Hollies”. The collective became one of the groups of Great Britain connected with "The British invasion". Nash wrote practically all the texts. His songs were filled with social subjects that is well visible in the first albums of the group.

“The Hollies” and CSNY

In 1963, the first album of the group “(Ain’t That) of Just Like Me” appeared. Further albums one by one followed. Their singles “Searchin'” became the twelfth in the British charts, and “Stay” - the eighth. Despite such a success, Graham Nash wanted to see his name separately from the others and his egocentric aspirations have predetermined Nash's leaving the group. After he left “The Hollies”, Graham Nash moves to California. There together with David Crosby and Stephen Stills he founds his own group. “Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young” (CSNY). In 1969, the group plays at Woodstock festival.

Solo Career

In 1971, Graham Nash records the first solo album “Songs For Beginners”. In 1974, he lets out the second solo album – “Wild Tales”. In 1978, Nash obtains the American citizenship. In two year he lets out the following album – “Earth & Sky”, and in 1986 – “Innocent Eyes”. After that, Nash had a long break in his musical career. His following album – “Songs for Survivors” - appeared only in 2002. In 2009, there was his solo album under the name "Reflections". His latest album “This Path Tonight” was issued in 2012.
