Elle’s parents divorced after a while. At 9, Tanner received the recording of “The Donnas” group from the stepfather. As the girl in interview claims, it became a turning point in her life and she resolved to become a singer. At 13, she listened to Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, “Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs”, AC\DC. At 16, using the fraudulent identity document, Elle King, actively performs in clubs and discos in suburbs of New York.

Popularity

In 2012, the first single of the singer under the name “Good to be a Man” appeared. And this was just the beginning. Producers offered their services and the air. Popularity and glory have already waited for Elle round the corner. In September 2014, in support of her album “Love Stuff” there is a single “Ex's & Oh's”.
