Potterrow is a Student Centre within the Edinburgh University Students` Association. Its capacity is developed to accommodate 151 student beds, 3 great ballrooms and other utility spaces for study. The rooms have shared bathrooms for students that study at Edinburgh University. Their prices are quite affordable for students that go to study there and share cultural experiences. The rooms on offer have state of the art utilities and security. The building is opened 24/7 for students.
The address of Potterrow is 5/2 Bristo Pl, Edinburgh EH8 9AL (situated near the main campus of Edinburgh University). Getting there is easy via the main South Bridge Road, which is 20 minutes from Edinburgh Waverly Railway Station.
By train and tube: as mentioned above, Potterrow is located near the main railway station. Passing Southern Bridge Road and Northern Bridge Road on foot will take around 10 minutes.
By bus: bus lines 3,5,7,8,29,31,37 will take you right to the student centre. You can exit either at Potterrow (SE-bound) or Before Nicolson St stop.
By car: Car driving in-between the city lanes is easy. The main roads that lead to Potterrow are South Bridge, A7 and Bristo PI.
International: Edinburgh Airport is west of the city meaning it may take travellers 40-50 minutes to reach the city centre by cab. Alternatively, you can catch a direct bus to the city centre or catch a train at the terminal exit.
Parking spaces are numerous for all kinds of vehicles within the campus. People with special needs benefit from a public disabled parking bay located on Crichton Street that is accessible with the university permit.
