His musical career started during his studies, when he and his friend Art Garfunkel played at school parties, imitating the style of “Everly Brothers”. In 1957, the duo, called “Tom & Jerry”, issued the single “Hey Schoolgirl”. The album hit the charts, and since then, Paul began to write and record his own songs regularly.
