“Disturbed” is the American rock group formed in Chicago, the State of Illinois by the musicians Dan Donegan, Steve Kmak, Mike Wengren and David Draiman, working in a genre of hard rock. Critics refer the creativity of the collective to a nu-metal. In the creativity of “Disturbed” group, the religious subject prevails. The date of creation is considered the time when David Draiman joined the group. He responded on the announcement of the group, searching for a vocalist, and he also gave the name to the team.

Fame and Changes

“Disturbed” recorded two demo albums until Giant Records label concluded the contract with them. In 2000, the group let out the single “Stupify” and the subsequent disk “The Sickness”, after which “Disturbed” gained fame. In 2001, the group participated in American Hard rock festival “Ozzfest”. Then they went touring under the name “Music as a Weapon”. In 2002, the disk “Believe” is recorded, in 2003 “Disturbed” got to Ozzfest again. The same year the bass guitarist Steve Kmak was replaced by John Moyer.

New Disk – New Tour

After the release of the disk “Ten Thousand Fists” on 20 September 2005, the group went to a tour with “10 Years” and “Ill Nino”. The album debuted on the 1st place in the USA. In addition, two songs “Hell” and “Monster” were available in a stream format, the great demand on which speaks about great devotion of the the group’s admirers of collective. The vocalist David Draiman was involved in the scandal connected with file exchange networks: he critically spoke about the claims of RIAA against individual users of file exchange networks in spite of the fact that “Disturbed” is under RIAA patronage.

Other Works

The group has also issued three more albums after this. They are “Indestructible” (2008), “Asylum” (2010), “Immortalized” (2015).
