In 2008 Lovato went on a tour together with Avril and Jonas Brothers, performing on a warming up. Inspired by this small success, Demi made up her mind to record her own album - "Don't Forget". The track “Get Back” which took the 43rd place in Hot 100 preceded the album. The 2nd track “La La Land” took the 52nd place. The 3rd track “Don't Forget”, which took the 41st place, was the most successful. In the interview Lovato told that she recorded this album in 10 days. Such celebrities as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Kara Diogurandi supported her. No wondering that 100 thousand copies were realized only for the first week of sales nearly. As a result, it took the 2nd place in Billboard 200. In 2009 Demi let out the 2nd album “Here We Go Again”. The disk was preceded by the same name song. The track occupied the 15th place in Billboard Hot. The track “World Of Chances” the singer composed with the perspective American musician John Mayer. This album was included to the 1st place in the Billboard 200 list.

Music for movies

In 2009 Demi wrote down the song “One and the Same” for the movie "Princess Protection Program" together with the singer Selena Gómez. Demi also participated in the record of two soundtracks in 2010. She wrote down several compositions for "Camp Rock 2" movie and a soundtrack to series "Sonny with a Chance". On 12 July 2011, Demi presented the single “Skyscraper”, which entered ten of the most sold songs within the USA. Her best songs are considered: “Don’t Forget” (2008), “Here We Go Again” (2009), “Unbroken” (2011), “DEMI” (2013), “Confident” (2015).
