A young and very promising horror punk band Creeper was founded less than two years ago. The guys have obviously not lost a minute of this time because this year, they have already gotten a Kerrang! Award as the Best British Newcomer, which is quite valuable in the world of alternative music. The fans all over the world are craving to see Creeper in their cities, and the band is constantly touring somewhere around the globe. Well, it seems that it won’t take Creeper long to go on a world tour as headliners!
History of Creeper
The band was founded in Southampton, England by Will Gould, now performing as a vocalist, and Ian Miles, a guitar player. Creeper is gaining popularity rapidly, and the guys are not going to stop! They released the first EP, titled Creeper, in 2014. The song VCR was one of the first indications of the future success. Another indication was the fact that Creeper signed the contract with Roadrunners Records. The second EP, The Callous Heart, was released in less than a year. This time, the record was passionately awaited not only by fans but by critics as well. The best-known song from The Callous Heart is Lie Awake. Finally, the world saw The Stranger, the third Creeper’s EP, in February of 2016. Now, while the United Kingdom is enjoining Creeper’s tour, everyone else is waiting for the debut album to be released in 2016.
Despite the short time that Creeper have played together, one of the members has abandoned the band already. It was Sina Nemati, performing with Creeper as a guitar player. He was replaced in 2015 by Oliver Burdett. Burdett and Hannah Greenwood, who plays keyboards, were the latest members to join Creeper. Will Gould (vocals), Ian Miles (guitar), Sean Scott (bass), and Dan Bratton (drums) have played in Creeper, since it was founded. Creeper is really hardworking. Each EP was followed by a few mind-blowing performances at major festivals in the UK, not to mention the UK tour that finished in May of 2016 at the famous London’s O2 Forum.
