The beginning of music career
She graduated the University of Leeds, where she studied English Literature. Bailey Rae has been interested in music since the early childhood. She studied classical violin at school. In the 1990s, Corinne Bailey Rae founded an indie group Helen, which was rather successful. They even got an offer to sign the contract with Roadrunner Records. However, the band split after some time.
