“Sleep” is a stoner-doom band from California. During its active work in the 90s of the last century, “Sleep” has received a lot of positive feedback. In particular, critics called the group as “perhaps the best stoner rock band” and noted its tremendous contribution to heavy metal music of the time. However, the relations with the record studios in the late '90s led to the disintegration of the group. “Sleep” was formed in the early 90s from the group “AsbestosDeath” which consisted of Al Cisneros, Chris Hakius, and Tom Choi.
