Robert Plant Bristol Tickets

This singer is one of the key figures in the history of rock music. Robert Plant was born in West Bromwich on August 20, 1948. His parents hoped that their son would make a career of economist, but Robert, inspired by a wave of blues, dropped out school and started singing in various bands. Among the early bands who are honored to have in their ranks a future star, was “The Crawling King Snakes” and “Band of Joy” with John Bonham as a drummer. The commercial success of these bands was small, but the rumors about a young guy with a powerful voice spread very quickly and, in the end, reached Jimmy Page. This guitarist was looking for partners for his team and after listening to Plant, he invited him to collaborate. Plant brought along Bonham, and thus, the formation of one of the greatest rock bands – “Led Zeppelin”- was completed. Read more
