Frehley was not always Ace. His real name is Paul Daniel Frehly. He was born in Bronx on April 27, 1951. Paul got a guitar at 13, and "Mrs Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter" from the repertoire of “Herman's Hermits” became the first song which he sang. At 16, Ace (this was his nickname at school) already knew that he wanted to be the guitarist. In the period from 1969 to 1973 Frehley changed many garage teams among which were “Magic People”, “The Muff Divers”, “The Exterminator’s”, “The Four Rose’s”, “Millemo”. The last from them even recorded several tracks for RCA which, however, remained unissued. Read more
